PROJECT MANAGER
UniD is a Contract & Development Manufacturing Organization dedicated to Micro Implants for the controlled release of drugs. Its brand-new facility with its tailormade equipment & technologies allows to handle extrusion, co-extrusion as well as injection moulding-based products. Clients can benefit from unique services going from Proof of Concept to commercial manufacturing, & to ensure client’s needs are met & to ensure a swift communication inside & outside the organization, UniD is hiring a Project Manager.
Your responsibilities:
The Project Manager (PM) performs project management functions for assigned projects, he/she ensures effective coordination between stakeholders involved in the project life cycle, with particular attention to the management of the baselines (scope, timelines and budget), and change management to avoid scope creeps.
The PM ensures the coordination and communication of the execution of projects with customers.
In addition to project timelines, budgets, and scope, the PM understands the project-specific requirements and shares that information with project teams and technical groups to make sure that everyone is working to meet customers’ needs.
Main responsibilities:
- Collect all customer requests and transmit them to UniD teams to translate them into operational activities;
- Consolidate execution schedules and resources necessary for the execution of external/internal operational activities;
- Communicate proposals for deliverables, prices, schedules and resources associated with requests to customers, as validated by UniD management;
- Manage contracts and assignments writing and approvals.
- Ensure the monitoring of the execution of schedules, the provision of deliverables, billing, the use of resources and the communication of these to customers and UniD management;
- Coordinate meetings with customers and UniD teams in the event of technical or quality problems;
- Ensure meeting minutes, agendas, timelines, trackers and the use of any tool benefiting the project;
- Ensure the identification and communication of risks identified on projects by UniD teams, as well as the implementation of their mitigation plans;
- Be proactive in reducing time and resources linked to project execution.
- Support UniD departments in the implementation of resource planning and management tools allowing optimization and overall coordination;
- Ensure the editing & monitoring of KPIs associated with project monitoring (scheduling, resources, pricing/margins);
- Help in finalizing project management processes.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline preferably in chemical or biomedical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or polymer chemistry, with at least 10 years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant, or PhD with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry in similar position.
- More than 3 years of experience in project management in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent knowledge of the requirements and processes inherent to pharmaceutical product development and production activities.
- Proven Project leadership skills and knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
- Project Management certification is an asset.

- Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
